Thank you for choosing Squeezy to support you on this journey. The Squeezy Maternity Programme is designed to support you throughout your pregnancy, from conception to postnatal recovery. The programme is divided into four distinct courses, designed to address the needs and challenges of each different trimester as well as the postnatal period. Here’s an overview of how each course works and what you can expect from them.
Course 1: “What to Expect When You’re Pregnant”
The first course, “What to Expect When You’re Pregnant,” covers the first trimester, as well as offering a guide for women throughout their pregnancy journey. The course provides detailed information on:
- Early pregnancy symptoms: Understanding and managing symptoms like morning sickness, fatigue and emotional changes.
- Nutrition: Information on managing your nutritional needs, with guidance from our maternity dietitian, Yasmin, on nutrition and gestational diabetes, morning sickness, the role of dietary fibre, what to prioritise in your diet and much more.
- Antenatal care: Importance of the first antenatal visit, what tests to expect and antenatal vitamins.
- Lifestyle adjustments: Guidance on exercise and avoiding harmful substances. Our midwife and personal trainer, Nadiye, provides a workout for this trimester as well as a pregnancy core exercises routine.

- Mental wellbeing: Support from our psychotherapists, Nada and Jerliee, on pregnancy nerves, career concerns, relationships and matrescence.
Course 2: “Second Trimester: Embracing the Middle Stage”
The second trimester is often considered the most comfortable period of pregnancy, spanning weeks 13 to 26. During this time, many women experience a surge in energy and a reduction in early pregnancy symptoms. This course includes:
- Physical changes: Guidance from our midwife, Iwona, on managing common issues such as back pain, round ligament pain and skin changes.
- Health screenings: Explanations of routine screenings and what they test for.
- Nutrition and exercise: Continued advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle to support both mother and baby. Including a trimester-specific workout created by midwife and personal trainer, Nadiye. The nutritional content is delivered by maternity dietitian Yasmin, and provides guidance on cravings and what to prioritise in this trimester.
- Birthing plan: An introduction to your birthing plan, the phases of labour, what your options are and due dates.
- Mental wellbeing: Support with stress, prenatal anxiety and expectations, created with psychotherapists Nada and Jerliee.
- Health conditions: Guidance on anaemia, UTIs, cholestasis and other health conditions that can occur during pregnancy.
Course 3: “Third Trimester: Preparing for Birth and Beyond”
As mothers enter the third trimester, weeks 27 to 40, they begin to focus more on labour and delivery. The third course is about preparing for the final stages of pregnancy and the arrival of the baby. Topics include:
- Nutrition: Information on caloric intake, fatigue, indigestion and getting the most out of your diet in the third trimester.
- Birth plan: Support on creating a birth plan that includes preferences for labour, delivery and immediate postnatal care. There is also information, created by midwife, Iwona, and women’s health physiotherapist and scar therapist, Hannah, on vaginal births, C-sections, pain management, overdue information, and much more.
- Mental wellbeing: Guidance from psychotherapists, Nada and Jerilee, on navigating unsolicited advice, becoming a parent, relationships and finding support.

This course is dedicated to the period after childbirth, addressing both the physical and emotional recovery of the new mother. It includes:
